A series of Bible messages that addresses the problems that seem to be steadily growing worse every day, both in our country and in the world. We are living in the mist of a global pandemic (Coronavirus) that has adversely affected so many people in so many ways. We are living in a time of great social and political unrest which has divided people in so many ways and resulted in a growing animosity between them. The greatest problem in the world is a spiritual problem, and the greatest need in our world is love. Not the type of love that the unbelieving world usually talks about, but the kind of love that comes from God, the kind of love described by the Greek word “agape” in the New Testament Scriptures. In this series, we explore the meaning and the characteristics of agape love and how it can impact our world for good.

The Message of Pentecost - 2 - The Last Days
Part 8 - "The Message of Pentecost - 2 - The Last Days" (Acts 2:17-21). When Peter stood up on the day of Pentecost to explain what had just happened, he declared that the coming of the Holy Spirit "is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel." He then quoted the prophecy found in Joel 2:28-32, which said that these things would come to pass in "the last days." This morning, we consider how what happened on that special day of Pentecost could possibly have been the last days of God's prophesied plan for His people, Israel.
