These Bible messages on “The Eternal Purpose of God” were preached in 2010-2011 by Pastor Gregg Bing during the morning worship services at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX. In Ephesians 3:11, Paul speaks of “the eternal purpose [of God] which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This purpose of God was eternal redemption, the means by which sinful men could be freed from the curse of sin and reconciled to God. This wonderful redemption was purposed and accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord through His death on Calvary for our sins and His resurrection from the dead. The phrase “eternal purpose” literally speaks of God’s purpose for the ages. In this series, we look at how this eternal purpose was unfolded through the ages as recorded in the Scriptures.
