This series of messages is a dispensational look at the subject of prayer. Prayer is such an important part of our lives as believers, but we often don’t know how or what to pray for. Many believers take some passages out of context; instructions given specifically to Israel under the law or in anticipation of the kingdom, are applied to believers today in this present age of grace. This only causes confusion and often brings disappointment in a person’s prayer life. These lessons provide practical guidelines for prayer in this present dispensation of grace.

Unconditional Election - 5

A Scriptural Look at Calvinism

We continue our studies in Romans 9, one of the key proof texts Calvinists used to support their 2nd tenet, "Unconditional Election." We look at the fact that God's choice of vessels is not His choosing individuals for personal salvation, but for His purpose in carrying our the plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. We also see that Gentiles were being saved while most Jews were not is because the Jews did not seek the righteousness of God by faith.
