This series of messages is a dispensational look at the subject of prayer. Prayer is such an important part of our lives as believers, but we often don’t know how or what to pray for. Many believers take some passages out of context; instructions given specifically to Israel under the law or in anticipation of the kingdom, are applied to believers today in this present age of grace. This only causes confusion and often brings disappointment in a person’s prayer life. These lessons provide practical guidelines for prayer in this present dispensation of grace.

These Bible studies were taught by Gary Googe in the adult Sunday school class at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas in 2019.

God's Determined Will

The Will of God

Though God, in His sovereignty, does at times allow men and even angels to make their own decisions (permissive will of God), there are things that God does determine will happen exactly as He purposes. This includes things such as the creation of the universe and the call of Abraham to father the nation of Israel, however, the most outstanding example is the finished work of Jesus Christ: His sacrificial death on the cross and His resurrection.

From Series: "The Will of God"

A brief series of lessons looking at the sovereignty of God, but focusing on the fact that there are different aspects to the will of God: His permissive will, His determined will, His providential will, and His desired will.
