Warning to the Worldly Rich

The Book of James

James gives a warning to those who, like the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:16-22, love worldly riches. They heap up for themselves treasures which fade away and offer no security for eternity. Such love of riches and the pleasures they afford, leads people to seek these things without concern for the needs of others.
