Waiting Patiently for Christ's Return

The Book of James

These Jewish believers are admonished to be patient (longsuffering) as they wait for the return of Christ to fulfill His promises to Israel. They are told to establish their hearts, for His coming is at hand. They are warned not to grumble and complain against one another, lest they be judged. They are directed to endure, steadfastly until the end, that they may be blessed of God.
