The Blessed God

Ephesians

(Eph. 1:3-14) Paul opens his letter to the saints at Ephesus with a beautiful doxology of praise to God for all the rich blessings He has given us in Jesus Christ. While we often focus on the blessings we enjoy as members of the Church, the Body of Christ, this passage is not really about us---it is about Him! All that we are blessed with is of Him; it comes to us through Him; and it is all done to His honor and glory.

From Series: "Ephesians"

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
