The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

These Bible messages were preached in 2020 by Pastor Gregg Bing during the morning worship service at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.

Prophecy and Mystery - 3

Sunday Morning Message

[Book of Acts] We continue looking at how recognizing the important distinction between "Prophecy and Mystery" helps us understand the Scriptures. In particular, how it addresses the question of how and when God has made known His plans and purposes for Israel, the Gentiles, and the church, the body of Christ. This morning, we look at the book of Acts, considering the real purpose of this book and whether or not this historical record penned by Luke reveals any truth about the church.
