The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

Introduction - the Ages

Dispensational Distinctions

An introduction to the series that stresses the importance of rightly dividing the Word of truth. This means recognizing that God has unfolded his purpose of providing redemption for sinful men throughout the ages. As God has unfolded this eternal purpose, He doesn't change, but His ways of dealing with people have indeed changed.

Scripture References: 2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 3:11

From Series: "Dispensational Distinctions"
