God’s Future for the Church

Throughout the Tribulation period, God will unleash a series of judgments upon the earth to purge and purify His people and to bring about their release from Gentile oppression. The Tribulation period will be brought to a close by the return of Jesus Christ to the earth: to judge and to make war, and to establish His kingdom upon this earth. After an initial reign of 1000 years, there will be a series of final judgments upon His creatures, followed by new heavens, new earth, and a new Jerusalem, and Christ's eternal reign over all things.
