Another significant change that took place after the stoning of Stephen was that the ministry was opened up to a NEW PEOPLE, the Gentiles. Peter received a vision to go to the house of an uncircumcised Gentile, a Roman centurion named Cornelius. Peter was hesitant at first because the Gentiles were considered unclean under the law, but he learned that what God cleansed was not to be considered unclean. (Acts 10:1-33).
