We conclude our study of "Limited Atonement," the 3rd tenet of Calvinism, the "L" in the TULIP acronym. We examine the passages of Scripture which state that Christ died for "many," which Calvinists contend precludes Him dying for the sins of all people. As we examine the language and the context of these passages, we find that these passages do not support Calvinist teaching on limited atonement.
In this series, we examine the 5 points of Calvinism, typically specified by the TULIP acronym, to see whether they are consistent with the teachings of Scripture.
