A verse by verse study of Paul’s last letter, written to his son in the faith, Timothy. Knowing he had completed his own ministry from the Lord and was near the end of his life, Paul wrote this letter to Timothy (all believers) stressing the importance of continuing the ministry of God’s Word. Perilous times were coming, during which more and more people would resist and turn away from the truth. So, Paul charged Timothy (and us) to hold fast to the truth of the mystery and the gospel of God’s grace that God had given through Paul, to continue to live out these truths, and to faithfully proclaim this message of grace to others.
