Yet, the church that resulted from his visit to that city proved to be a model church; one that served as an example to believers everywhere (1 Thess. 1). The reason for this was because the ministry of Paul and Silas there was a model ministry (1 Thess. 2, Acts 17); one that we can still learn from today.
