It’s wonderful to stop and think
There is a God above,
Transcendent, awesome, holy, wise,
And yet a God of love.
It makes me want to sing and shout
And lift my hands in praise,
To know He really cares for me
And will for all my days.

What else could any man yet want
In a world that’s growing dim,
Forgiven, raised, and glorified,
Fully complete in Him.

And yet the greatest is to come,
Ephesians tells the story,
Co-heirs with Christ of all He’s made,
We shall share His glory.

What relationship, what a hope,
Seems too good to be true,
Yet it’s sure as the God above,
Reserved for me and you.

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” —Ephesians 1:18
