By Robert E. Hanna
When next we meet, shall not the name
Of Jesus Christ be glorified?
For that’s the reason we became
His fellow-workers, side-by-side!
What else can give to us the same
In purest joy and sheer delight,
As sharing knowledge of His claim
Upon our souls in God’s own sight!
And may we not His love proclaim
As that which could alone put right
Our hopeless state of sin and shame,
By virtue of His peerless might?
When next we meet, let’s fan the flame
Of fellowship to fullness bright;
And let’s rejoice in Him that came
To pierce our blindness with His light!
