The One who made the universe
Must have His way with me,
And though He seems to bring me harm,
From the flesh I must be free.

Though I be tried and tested,
It comes in the Master’s plan
That I no longer trust myself,
But yield to His loving hand.

For He must be my comfort,
And He must be my strength,
If I’m to know His likeness
If I’m to know His length.

He must be my all in all,
My majestic humble head,
For I can offer nothing,
I must be Spirit led.

Great loving Lord, here’s my life,
It’s broken all apart,
Please take and mold me like Thy Son,
May I know His tender heart.

Expose my every weakness
That I humbly look to Thee,
And find in Christ my all in all,
And like my Savior be.

“Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” —2 Corinthians 4:10
