Go Forth to Him Outside the Camp

Hebrews

(Hebrews 13:9-25) As we conclude our study in the book of Hebrews, the writer gives final instructions to the Jewish believers he is addressing. He contrasts the ritualistic and ceremonial worship the Jews were continuing under the Law with the true, spiritual worship centered in Christ, emphasizing that these believers needed to "go forth to Him [Christ] outside the camp" [of Judaism under the law]. The last part of the book is in the form of a letter, in which we find personal requests, blessings, greetings, and a benediction.
