Enoch - Faith Walking with God

Hebrews

(Hebrews 11:5-6) In the 5th chapter of Genesis we find the book of the genealogy of Adam. It is a record of death, for as it describes each man in his lineage, it concludes with the statement "and he died." The one exception to this is the 7th man from Adam, a man named Enoch.Instead of saying "and he died," it says of him that "he was not for God took him." This is the reason he is listed in the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11. This morning, we look at the faith of Enoch, a man who "walked with God" and was well-pleasing to God, and how he came to be taken by God so that he did not experience physical death.
