The Resurrection - Empty Tomb - 2
The Empty Tomb provides powerful evidence that Jesus was bodily raised from the dead. This morning, we examine the Scriptural evidence refuting three attempts to explain away the Empty Tomb: 1) The Stolen or Moved Body Theory, that Jesus' body was either stolen by His disciples or moved by someone else, 2) The Wrong Tomb Theory, that the women simply went to the wrong tomb early Sunday morning, found it empty and assumed Jesus had risen from the dead, and 3) The Swoon Theory, that Jesus did not actually die, but only swooned or fainted on the cross and later revived in the tomb.
