Judas Iscariot - 1
Following their failed confrontations and questioning of Jesus, the Jewish rulers assembled in the palace of Caiaphas the high priest, They plotted how to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him, but not during the feast lest there be an uproar among the people. The answer to their dilemma arose from an unexpected source: one of Jesus' twelve apostles, Judas Iscariot, came to them offering to betray Jesus into their hands for money. This morning, we begin looking at who this man Judas Iscariot was and what drove him to betray Jesus.
