In this brief series of lessons, we look at the sovereignty of God, focusing on the fact that there are different aspects to the will of god: His permissive will, His determined will, His providential will, and His desired will.
These Bible lessons were taught by Pastor Gregg Bing in 2023 during the adult Sunday school class at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.

We continue looking at incidents in the life and ministry of our Savior, the Lord Jesus, that indicate that He came into this world to die on the cross for the sins of the world. These studies serve as an introduction to this study of the "Passion Week," the last week of Jesus' life culminating in His death and resurrection. This morning, we look at how both the Jewish rulers and the multitudes in Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah and Lord and, eventually, sought to put Him to death.
In our introduction to the passion week (Jesus' final week of sufferings that culminated in His death), we have seen that this was God's eternal purpose. In this lesson, we look at additional indications from Jesus' earthly ministry that Jesus was "Born to Die," focusing on the fact that Jesus was despised and rejected by men during His time on earth. While there was a little flock that truly believed in Him, and while the multitudes in Israel initially flocked around Him (primarily for His miraculous healing), the majority of the Jews followed the lead of their religious rulers, who, from the beginning, did not believe in Him and sought to destroy Him.
