Paul Before Festus
(Acts 25:1-27) We continue looking at the final stage of the Apostle Paul's Acts period ministry, a stage that would lead him to Rome, where he would preach his final message to the Jews of the dispersion. The road to Rome would not be short nor would it be easy, but Paul knew he was in the Lord's hands and that his ministry would be fulfilled. Felix, the Roman governor of Judea, had kept Paul in prison for 2 years, but Felix was then replaced by Festus. In this morning's message, we look at Paul as he stood before Festus and defended himself against the charges made by the Jewish rulers. We see how God used this encounter to bring about Paul's passage to Rome.
