When Will Jesus Return?

The Parables of Jesus

(Matthew 24:36-44) In this part of the Olivet Discourse, Jesus answers the question of His disciples: "When will these things be?" In particular, He addresses the fact that, while there are signs that His coming is near, no one knows the specific day and hour except the Father. For the coming of the Lord will be like it was in the days of Noah, when people carried on their normal day to day activities and did not know judgment was coming until the flood came and took them all away.
