Jesus' Promise and Prayer for His Apostles

The Passion Week

(John 14, 16, 17) We continue looking at how Jesus sought to comfort His apostles the night before His death. This morning, we look at the promise He gave to them that, after He had gone back to heaven, He would ask the Father to send the Holy Spirt to dwell in their hearts. Afterwrd, He interceded for them in a prayer to His Father, asking Him to keep them and sanctify them through the truth of His Word.
