The Parable of the Tares - 2

The Parables of Jesus

(Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43) We continue looking at Jesus' interpretation of the parable of the wheat and the tares, which He used to reveal to His disciples "the mysteries of the kingdom." Though spoken outside to the multitudes, Jesus only explained its meaning to His disciples after they went inside the house. This parable describes the conditions that will exist during the last days (the end of the age) of God's dealings with His earthly people, Israel.
