Christ Baptizing with the Holy Spirit - Part 3

The Baptisms of Scripture

In this lesson, we look at the day of Pentecost, recorded in Acts 2, where we find Christ baptizing with the Holy Spirit. We look at several key questions: When did this take place? Where were they when it did? Who was present on that day? What happened when the Holy Spirit was poured out? As we examine the answers to these questions, we see that this baptism with the Holy Spirit was something that had special meaning to God's earthly people, Israel.

From Series: "The Baptisms of Scripture"

This series of Bible studies examines the many different baptisms found in the Scriptures, looking at the practice and meaning of each. Much focus will be placed on the one baptism that is still in operation today in this present dispensation of God's grace: the baptism by the Holy Spirit that places believers into Christ. These lessons were given during the adult Sunday school class at Grace Bible Church in 2021.
