Sealed with the Holy Spirit

Ephesians

(Eph. 1:13-14) Can believers lose their salvation, or do we have eternal security? This morning, we look at the final blessing Paul identifies in his opening doxology to the book of Ephesians, a blessing that provides powerful proof of our security in Christ, a blessing that involves the work of the Holy Spirit. The moment we hear and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. We consider what this means and how it assures our salvation for all eternity.

From Series: "Ephesians"

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
