An Inheritance in Christ

Ephesians

(Eph. 1:11-12) We continue looking at the blessings God has bestowed upon believers today as members of the Church. The blessing we look at this morning centers around an inheritance in Christ. We examine the nature of this inheritance, considering whether it speaks of an inheritance we have from God or whether it is an inheritance He has in us. As with all of the blessings found in Paul's opening doxology, the purpose and the result of all of them is unto the praise of His glory.

From Series: "Ephesians"

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
