Redemption and Forgiveness

Ephesians

(Eph. 1:7) We have seen that our wonderful blessings as believers in Christ were predestined by the will of God the Father (Eph. 1:3-6). This morning, we begin looking at how these blessings were provided through the finished work of God the Son (Eph. 1:7-12) with His death on the cross for our sins and His resurrection. We consider the two key truths found in verse 7; that in Him we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins.

From Series: "Ephesians"

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
