Walk in Love

Ephesians

(Eph. 5:1-7) In the 5th chapter of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul is led of the Holy Spirit to give three positive directives as to how believers are to walk in this present dispensation of grace. This morning, we look at the first of these found in verses 1-7, "Walk in Love." We will examine the nature of the love we are to exhibit and how it was shown in the example of our Savior, who "also loved us and gave Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma."

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
