God's Providential Will

The Will of God

God works out His eternal purpose not only according to His own determined purpose (will), but also according to His foreknowledge of all that will happen. We look at three examples of God's providential will at work in: the preservation of the family of Israel when Joseph is sold into slavery and taken to Egypt; the saving of God's people, Israel, from the decree of the wicked Haman in the book of Esther; and the choice of Judas Iscariot, the one who would betray Jesus, to be one of the twelve apostles.
