The Promise to Israel

The Book of Acts

Peter, in his message to Israel on the day of Pentecost, stressed to the people of Israel that the promise of remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit was to them and to their children, and to all that are afar off (Acts 2:39-40). These new believers were added to the kingdom church there in Jerusalem (Acts 2:41-47).
