We continue the introduction to our series on the passion week, the suffereings of our Savior during the last week of His life leading to His death. We examine the baptism of Jesus, considering why He submitted to John's baptism, as well as the temptation of Jesus immediately following His baptism. Both of these events point to the fact that Jesus was born to die.
In this series of studies, we examine the passion week, the final week of our Lord's life here on this earth that was marked by sufferings and culminated with His death on the cross for our sins. We conclude with a look at our Savior's glorious resurrection after three days in the grave.
