Intro to Hebrews - 3

Hebrews

We conclude our introduction to the book of Hebrews this monrning, looking at the 3rd purpose of the book: to warn these Hebrews to take heed to the Word of God, lest there be negative consequences in their lives. These warnings are found in key places throughout the book. Though they are, in a sense, parenthetical, they are critical admonitions to these Hebrews during the times in which they live, and they provide some important spiritual principles we can apply in our own lives as well. We also briefly consider the question of who wrote the book of Hebrews.
