Responsibilities in the Workplace

Ephesians

(Eph. 6:5-9) In Ephesians 5:22-6:9, the Apostle Paul lays out the roles and responsibilities God has given to members of a household. We have seen the roles of husbands and wives as well as children and parents. This morning, we look at the last two roles, that of bondservants (slaves) and masters. While slavery was prevalent during the first century when this book was written, it is no longer an accepted practice today. However, we can apply the principles to our modern-day workplace looking at the responsibilities given to employees and employers to learn how God would have believers behave in these roles.

From Series: "Ephesians"

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
