The Jewish rulers were worried after Jesus made His grand entry into Jerusalem and was seemingly welcomed by the multitudes as their King. When He cleansed the temple the next day, drivnig out the moneychangers and merchants, they knew they had to do something. So, the following day, when Jesus returned to the temple, they challenged His authority to do these things; a challenge that failed miserably, Jesus then proceeded to tell three parables exposing the wickedness of these supposed spiritual leaders in Israel.
In this series of studies, we examine the passion week, the final week of our Lord's life here on this earth that was marked by sufferings and culminated with His death on the cross for our sins. We conclude with a look at our Savior's glorious resurrection after three days in the grave.
