Ministry Moves to Antioch

The Book of Acts

Another significant changes occurs in Acts 11, after the stoning of Stephen by the Jews. A NEW CENTER of ministry is seen. Ananias is sent to Antioch (Syria) to encourage new believers there. He sends for Saul of Tarsus to come and help him. This city becomes the center of Saul's (Paul's) ministry through the rest of the book of Acts. (Acts 11:1-26).
