Intro to Hebrews - 2
We continue our introduction to the book of Hebrews this morning, looking at the 3-fold purpose of this book, which is reflected in the outline of the book's contents. Hebrews is written primarily to Jewish believers to show them the superiority of Jesus Christ to Judaism under the Mosaic law, to encourage them to continue steadfast in their faith in Christ, and to warn them to take heed to the Word of God.

Though written specifically to and about Hebrews (earliest term for Abraham and his descendants), this book contains rich, deep truths about the superiority of the person and finished work of Jesus Christ over the Mosaic Law that help us gain a better appreciation for our Lord and Savior.
