What the Mystery is Not

Ephesians

(Eph. 3:6) We have seen that the truth of God's plan and purpose for believers today, which is clearly spelled out in the book of Ephesians, is a mystery which was kept secret from men in past ages, but has now been revealed to us through the writings of the Apostle Paul. We have addressed many issues surrounding this mystery, but we have not answered the key question, "What, specifically, is the mystery of Ephesians 3?" This morning, we begin exploring this question, but from the negative side, looking at "What the Mystery is Not."

Scripture References: Ephesians 3:6

From Series: "Ephesians"

A verse by verse, dispensational study through the book of Ephesians, one of Paul's prison epistles written while he was in prison in Rome at the close of the book of Acts. This book most fully unfolds the truth of the mystery of Christ; truth that had been kept secret from men of past ages, but has now been revealed to and through the Apostle Paul. This mystery of God's will concerns Gods' purpose for a new body of believers, the Church, the Body of Christ, living under a new dispensation of God, the dispensation of grace.
