We continue looking at the key proof text for the 2nd tenet of Calvinism, "Unconditional Election," Romans 9:10-16. We examine why God chose Isaac over Ishmael and Jacob over Esau, and for what purpose. Rather than the choice of them as individuals to be saved or lost, God's election has to do with who will be the promised seed in the bloodline to Christ.
In this series, we examine the 5 tenets of Calvinism, represented by the TULIP acronym and show how each of these assertions are inconsistent with the teaching of the Scriptures when considered from a dispensational viewpoint.
