The Jerusalem Council - Part 2

The Book of Acts

After Peter's testimony that Gentiles were saved by simple faith, James (head of the Jerusalem church) affirms that Gentile salvation was prophesied in the Old Testament Scriptures. He issues the decision that Gentiles do not have to be circumcised or keep the law, but only should abstain from things that would be particularly offensive to the Jews.
