Paul Strengthens the Disciples

The Book of Acts

After ministering the Word of God in Antioch, Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe, Paul and Barnabas made it a point to return to each of these cities on their journey home; cities where they had suffered great persecution. Why would they do this? To strengthen the souls of the believers there, to encourage them to continue in the faith, and to appoint elders in each city to equip these saints for the work of the Lord. (Acts 14:21-26).
