The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

Patterns for Prayer - Part 1

Sunday Morning Message

Prayer was a priority in Jesus' life and should be in ours too. Many believers struggle with how to pray and what to pray for. We can find help to answer these questions from prayers recorded in the Bible, but we must rightly divide the Word. The prayers recorded in Paul's epistles serve as the best patterns for our prayer life. In this message, we begin looking at the first of two prayers recorded in the book of Ephesians, a prayer which focuses on fully knowing Christ.
