The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

These Bible messages were preached in 2020 by Pastor Gregg Bing during the morning worship service at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.

Christ in Paul's Epistles - the Church - Ephesians

Knowing Christ

As we continue our studies about knowing Christ, we begin looking at the second group of Paul's epistles (Eph., Phil., and Col.) which focus on Christ and His Church. We will consider the truths found in the glorious book of Ephesians, in which Paul most fully explains the truth of the mystery of Christ; a mystery which centers on the Church, the Body of Christ, which God is building in this present dispensation of grace.
