The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

These Bible messages were preached in 2020 by Pastor Gregg Bing during the morning worship service at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.

Christ in Paul's Epistles - the Cross

Knowing Christ

We examine the first group of Paul's epistles (Rom., 1-2 Cor., and Gal.) which focus on Christ and His Cross. This brief look at these important epistles is intended to help us appreciate the power of the cross of Christ to transform our lives, and to encourage us to dig deeper into God's Word that we may know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
