The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

Christ in Paul's Epistles - Intro

Knowing Christ

The epistles of Paul are vital to the life of every believer, for it is in these writings that we find God's will for His Church, the Body of Christ, in this present dispensation of grace. These letters give us special insight into knowing Christ our Savior by allowing us to see what He has done for us and what we have been made in Him. In this message, we look at an overview of the content of these important New Testament books and how they reveal to us our wonderful Lord and Savior.
