The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

These Bible messages were preached in 2020 by Pastor Gregg Bing during the morning worship service at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.

Keeping the Faith

Sunday Morning Message

Paul, in his last letter to Timothy, knowing his death was near, told him, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." In this message we seek to answer the questions: What does it mean to keep the faith? Why is there a need to keep the faith? How do we, as believers, keep the faith?
