The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in history; it is the central theme of the Scriptures; it is the crisis point through which God’s eternal purpose of redemption was accomplished. It is imperative that we study and know about this critical event in the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this series, we examine one particular aspect of the crucifixion: the 7 statements Jesus made while He hung on the cross. These statements, which were uttered during the greatest event in history, are clearly significant. We will look at the order in which the statements were made, the situation and purpose for each statement, and the insight each one gives us into the mind and heart of our Savior as well as the reason that He died on that cross.

These Bible messages were preached in 2020 by Pastor Gregg Bing during the morning worship service at Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.

Christ in Paul's Epistles - the Church - Philippians

Knowing Christ

We continue our study of the second group of Paul's epistles (Eph., Phil., and Col.), which focus on Christ and His Church. We will examine Paul's letter to the Philippians, which deals with the believers personal relationship with Christ: that He is our life; that we are to have His mindset; that He is the only gain in life; and that He gives us strength to handle any situation and supplies our every need.
